Army of Darkness Australian Book of the Dead Blu Ray

Yes I bought it. I posted a video on my channel too about it but it's set to private right now.

You are right. It's by far the cheapest of all three books quality wise. You can't open it as wide thanks to the multiple discs inside probably. It is by Tom Sullivan and the bullskrit and artwork of his is all there. But the latex is low in quality in comparison to the other two books. The colors in the eyes and mouth all look liking they're brushing off. At least the artwork and the bullskrit is still there and it's really nice.

The stock photo that was initially supplied is NOT the actual product which indeed pissed some people ff. You are right about that. As for the discs, they are region free and are ports of the Screwhead edition with the exception of the director's cut DVD supplied which is the same muddy transfer found on many different editions of Army of Darkness. I would seem that the new German edition on the way is fixing that though as we will finally have a Blu-ray of the director's cut that uses the same source as the MGM R3 release.

A friend of mine who lives in Australia and also picked this up (and helped me do the same) told me that objects made in Australia tend to be of lesser quality. *shrugs*

From my perspective judging by that vid it looks pretty neat. I'd love to have it, but /i also understand the frustration of purchasing a product and it ends up not looking like how its advertised.

The artwork looks great but the book itself looks very rushed. The inside cover latex on the one in this video hasn't even been glued down properly! .. and when the guy is talking about those sleeves holding the discs I was thinking "don't don't don't turn to the next page without flattening that obviously sticking up corner man!" .. and then he did  :(. I now I'm being a nerd but that's a crease forever right there.

Just received mine and yes it's cheaper than the other ones. The art work is nice but does not seem as creative as the other two IMO. But I had to have it and I'm glad that I bought it. No regrets.

I got my in mail this week and the book is really fragile on the outside, but I still love it.
It looks really great and finally have Army Of Darkness on blu ray (not out here in Belgium).
