Evil Dead 2 slot game

So apparently this was a 100% legit officially licensed online slot machine developed by Zynga (the studio behind the astronomically popular Facebook game FarmVille). Not a whole lot of information out there regarding it besides a few video clips and these two post from artist Tim Kaminski (any relation to Chet?), who apparently still works for Zynga to this day. Hit It Rich seems to thrive on bringing in more players by having a wide variety of licensed franchises turned into digital slot machines for a short time... everything from The Wizard of Oz, The Terminator, Star Trek, Garfield, Aerosmith, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvria.

The Evil Dead 2 theme launched on October 29, 2014 and stuck around for at least a few years, though I'm not exactly sure when it was removed (though it for sure was gone by 2020). The game featured clips of Bruce Campbell as Ash lifted directly from the movie, but had several voice actors record new lines for all three Knowbys (Annie, Raymond, and Henrietta), and Deadite Ed Getley.

Here are a few video clips:
If anybody has any more information about this game, I'd love to hear it!

OK, that's fascinating, I knew nothing about this.

Haven't had a Facebook account since 2019, and wonder if people still play games on there because damn Farmville got crazy and they made a Sims game too... but I don't recall ever seeing any Evil Dead games on there even though I did play a bit of the Army of Darkness Defense game.

This was a game within a game (Hit It Rich Slots), so if you didn't know where to look, you'd never find it.

Gambling woocasinoplay.com can be a thrilling activity, but it’s essential to approach it with caution, setting clear limits to ensure it remains an enjoyable and responsible pastime.

That’s really interesting! It’s wild to think Zynga, known for casual games like FarmVille, dabbled in officially licensed slot machines. Hit It Rich must’ve been quite the draw with all those franchises—it’s not every day you see something like Garfield and The Terminator sharing the same platform. Tim Kaminski’s work on this must have been fun; those themes sound like a creative goldmine. Honestly, it’s a bit surprising this hasn’t become a bigger topic in gaming nostalgia circles!
