Nice work .... is that your sculpt & what scale is it? ..

Are your ED2 cabin pics from the same exterior cabin location that featured in The Color Purple? ... I'd be very interested to see more so thanks for sharing. I liked seeing the pic of the work shed as it stands today.
Is this location on private land or can anyone get to it?

I have more shot on my facebook page... and yes it is on private property that is gated. the owner of the property gave me the cabin and tool shed, and we hauled as much stuff out of there as we could last winter, even before the bluray film crew did their thing. Tony Elwood contacted me for all the directions and contact info... i was more than happy to help. the cabin was hit by a terrible wind strom last year and the roof is wanting to collaspe to the righthand side..only one of the huge evil trees remain standing, the tool shed still stand  and is solid as hell.. something you may not see in the ED2 movie is that the tool shed had "two" doors... the main door campbell went in and out of, and there was a smaller door directly above that... the cabin and shed are much bigger than they look on film.

You wrote that the cabin exterior is on the same property that 'The Color Purple' was filmed at but the cabin wasn't "featured" in that movie at all ... conventional geekdom wisdom is that they were one and the same cabin (apart from the exterior prop minature cabin exhibited in, I think, the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood, plus all the interiors in the high school gym) ... Are your pics the same cabin that was used for the ED2 exteriors?
