This info and picture my be common knowledge but it's the first time I've come across it.
'The Father of the Father of The Evil Dead, WWII veteran, and furniture store owner, Leonard "Larry" Raimi. 1926-2021. Larry had five children. After losing his teenage son Sander, who died in a tragic drowning accident while attending school overseas in 1970, the Raimi family became even closer. Sander was only 16, Ivan 13, Sam was 10, Ted was barely 5. Three years later Larry bought Sam his first Super-8 camera. Hell of a guy, this one. Ted once totaled Larry's brand new '84 Ford, and Larry said "It's just a car."
Cheers, Sir.'
