The Evil Dead 40th anniversary immersive experience ..

I went last weekend, in comparison from 2 years ago, they revised the immersive experience by adding:

  1. The Oldsmobile delta immersive section
  2. The Cabin (Front only)
  3. The Ed Geitly Deadite statue
  4. The Table Chainsawing the hand
  5. The Cellar room with tape recording playing and immersive deadite at the wall
  6. The Kandarian Demon head on the wall

Another big change compare last 2019 exhibit is that if you want the full lights and special effects, you need to buy a keyfob activator for an extra $8.00

Man, it looks so cool!

By the way, to which exact date does the 40th anniversary fall into? Because if it's counted since the original premiere in the Redford Theatre, then that should be…today?

Probably or just the month of October.

October 15th is the day The Evil Dead premiered at the Redford Theater in Detroit, and I always go with that date... but as Kain said with The Evil Dead premiering on October 15th of 1981 and Ash vs Evil Dead season 1 on Halloween of 2015 (35 years later) we should celebrate all things evil and dead throughout the entire month.
