People need to understand this:

There's a false misconception with the Halloween series that Halloween H20 absolutely erases all Halloween films and is only a sequel to Halloween and Halloween II. It's a valid INTERPRETATION. But it's also equally valid to interpret that it takes place all in the same timeline. People latched on to what a producer said about it ignoring everything but the first two films. Yet, they ignored what another producer said, that it ignores everything but the first film. What people don't understand is that it doesn't matter what a producer, writer, director, actor, etc. says about the meaning of a film because it's all interpretation. The only fact concerning that is that Halloween through Halloween: Resurrection (8 films) are in the same universe. You can interpret the various films as in different timelines ('what if?' scenarios), but the only fact is that those seven films are sequels to (the first) Halloween. Interpret them however you like because that is what art is. It simply exists and you determine what it is through your perception.

I wanted to point that out because with this case of Adam Marcus (the director) saying that Jason is a deadite and everyone saying, "No, he's not." is a perfect example of what I've been trying to get through to those that argue with me about the Halloween films. And Adam Marcus is correct because he states that it's his OPINION (interpretation), meaning that he gets it. You watch the film and determine what it is for yourself.

That's where the contradiction lies...

You can't say "Well yes, he's apart of the Evil dead."

And then say "In my opinion" in the same manner that creates a fallacy.

At no stage in any of the Friday the 13th films was Jason Vorhees a Kandarian Demon. Undead at a later stage?. Yes .. but not a Kandarian demon so not a Deadite even if a fan really really wants him to be because that's his "interpretation", "opinion" or "perception". Nope.

I 100% agreed with that!
