Best Version of Each Movie

This would be good information to have. Most have similar/the same bonus content, though, and you can always see what they have on the product pages on websites like Amazon. I have an Army of Darkness blu ray with crap picture quality, though. I'm wondering if it's the best there is or if there is a better one. Apparently a new addition from Shout Factory is coming out which MIGHT be good.

As for 1 and 2, I don't know. I have those on Blu-Ray and honestly they're better than my Army of Darkness blu-ray.

Well I'll give my 2 cents on this

If its special features your looking for?

The 2 disc limited edition blu Ray of the evil dead is your best
bet if you want the main movie in hd.

If you don't care about hd,
then you got dvds you could get.

The 3 disc Ultimate Edition is the thing to own on DVD.

Evil dead 2 has a blu ray from lions gate that has
stuff that has never before seen in a u.s release.

The evil dead 2 book of the dead edition and the lions gate edition of
Evil dead 2 are the same dvd basically.

Army of darkness only has a near bare bones edition on blu Ray
I would wait to October too see if the up coming Collectiors Edition
Is any good.

There are two 2 disc editions of Army of darkness
from Anchor Bay that are exactly the same discs.

Google all this or hit up amazon try ebay.
Go to your local video markets that sells used or new dvds
and hit them up.

Hope that helps good luck.

There's a big, comprehensive list of the differences between each version released of the movie over on Book of the Dead, if you want to compare specs side by side!

I'd personally go with Ultimate Edition/25th Anniversary or BOTD/Boomstick ed, because those are the most comprehensive.
