I agree, and think that this AMA with Bruce is one of the best I have ever seen and/or read... and if anyone would like to read the whole thing check it out. I really like the what Bruce had to say about Running time, and still hope to see Josh becker get a shot at directing an episode of AvED in the future.

I keep hoping they'll re-release Running Time on Blu Ray with a fresh commentary; that was supposed to happen but I think it got cancelled.

Josh will not be directing any AVED because he doesn't want to get involved. He already responded to a fan's inquiry about it.

Well, when I asked Josh about the possibility in 2014 at first he said "I would rather shoot my toe off with a shotgun," but when asked in 2015 by someone else he said "I knew that I would never be hired I took the offensive. But of course, were they to hire me I would take it, strictly for the money. But that will not occur." I just think Josh believes he would never be hired, and it seems that aside from Ted and Bruce he doesn't have much of a relationship with Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert anymore. I guess it is more like wishful thinking, but you never know what will happen in the future. I think they are more interested in getting people who bring a fresh mind to AvED, and that is turning out to look pretty damn good 4 episodes in.
