RE: Evil Dead Television Series

Wow, fifty percent of these spoilers have me raising an eyebrow

SPOILER

SPACE

Ash as a stoner who can't hold his smoke enough to keep him from blurting out the words, and yet he gets high to give himself prophetic visions?  The hell?

Fisher and Ash getting romantically involved, and it could not be clearer from that last synopsis that she's toast, and Deadite Ash takes her out.    It takes four episodes to get to the Ruby Knowby reveal?  Kelly getting possessed and possibly rescued by Pablo's love/Brujo magic?   This all reads like a mess.

Nice job. I hadn't checked the Wiki in a while. Not only are there episode titles, but each one has a synopsis if you click the episodes in the references section. Only two list the director so far though. El Jefe (the chief) with Sam Raimi and Bait is Michael J. Bassett.

I also don't see a problem with Ash smoking a little weed, or going on journey with the help of a Shaman's mystical herbs. I just hope things turn out better for him and his friends. There will be cliffhangers I bet.

I think you are reading too much into these. Just try to forget all the spoilers and wait the remaining few weeks with a clear head. I know I'm gonna probably try it. :)

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

I'm kinda wondering if ash is just now trying the stuff out because pablo probably talked him into it or something, i bet he contemplates it in his trailer and finally gives in and tries the stuff.

That's how i see that situation going down with that subject, plus the second to final episode description is very vague

"the deadliest deadite attacks."

Wonder what that could mean...  :s

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

The deadliest Deadite is clearly going to be some big ugly son of a bitch for Ash and company to do battle with, and part of the new breed... or they want to give the show Deadliest Catch a run for their money. Hell I think I'd rather hunt crabs, or maybe just get crabs than mess with a Deadite horde.

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

What im loving about ep 4 descrption is that we are going to be treated with different types of demons, monsters etc, does anyone know of a demon called "Eligos" ?

Nah, I'm reacting to what's blatantly in the spoilers.  Some of them make sense and are intriguing, the ones I reacted to are what I reacted to!  :D

Nope, it says in the first episode synopsis that he brings about the Deadite apocalypse in an "act of stoned stupidity".

The "Deadliest Deadite" will either be Linda, I think, or some new gigantic big bad.  There is a giant in the iphone game, so maybe that's it?

Also interesting to note: the character of Lem, who's Amanda's boss.  Looks like there'll be more than one appearance from him.

According to Wiki, he's the Great Duke of hell, commander of 60 legions of demons, often called upon by knights who seek his favor.  to put it basically: a skeleton dude riding a winged horse.

Goetia is, according to Wiki again, the ancient medieval art of invoking demons or angels.

Well whatever it is, were going to be getting it in the 10th episode, i find it strange that one wasn't posted, maybe it's for the best

EP5 descrption seems like  there's going to be something big go down in  ashes favor.

"  This forces Pablo to make a brave move and Ash to reveal a new side to his character"

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

Btw, Brujo is the name of the character played by Hemky Madera so we will have a new character along with a Great Duke of Hell in one episode.

bet you 10 bucks that is pablo's dad or uncle

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

Considering Brujo is the Spanish word for a male witch, or Shaman I'd say that sounds about right.

@Nick - my problem isn't Ash getting high (though between the apparent alcoholism and the possibly non-casual pot habit it feels like they're piling too much on the character), my problem is the inconsistent idea behind him getting high combined with the fact that he's fifty and should be able to hold his smoke by now!

Apparently they set up the show's last episode to work as a permanent finale in case they don't get renewed (and we all know it's gonna get renewed, so that's a stopgap!).

I have a feeling that the tenth episode will be an hour long, which is why we only have nine descrips.  Looks like the finale takes place at the cabin, too!

Brujo is also what Pablo was studying to be before he ran off to absorb the American dream (also there are no Honduran brujos, oops).

This is my attitude going into this because I truly cannot enjoy the series with knowing too much. I'll pass judgement when it comes out.

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

I wonder how many versions of The Classic they ended up using on the shoot, or if they went ahead and put a new engine in it.

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

I would assume they just put a new engine in the sucker, and don't have 100's of Classics sitting around like the Dukes of Hazzard with the General Lee. Plus I doubt The Classic will be making any jumps. Now running over a few Deadites is another story.

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

Doesn't Sam own like 6 or 7 of them?

RE: Evil Dead Television Series

Haven't seen it anywhere else, but now it popped up on the official website.

Man the blood effects look great.

I wonder if this photo isn't taking place during amanda and her partner's encounter with the twisting head deadite.
