Maniac Cop Remake announced

[DeadByDawn]

Something else to hate on...  :laughing

The production is spearheaded by Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn, who is producing alongside Lustig, director of the original, and Wild Bunch. The director will be announced in Cannes, which means it probably isn’t going to be Lustig, as previously thought.

The script is written by Ed Brubaker, whose credits include the fantastic Captain America: The Winter Soldier! How about that!?

[Kain]

No Bruce no sale  :laughing

[Swofty]

I'm looking forward to this but only if it's a low budget piece o c**p ....  :thumbup

[Elise41]

I can't imagine how this is going to turn out.

[Swofty]

Bring on the Intruder remake !

Until then, watch Sam Raimi die ala Chainsaw Massacre style  :happydevil :

I'm actually intrigued/looking forward to this, but for me most of the charm of the movie comes from Bruce's performance.

[Nick el Ass]

They won't rest until every movie ever made is remade. The biggest question is will Sam reprise his roll as a reporter?!?
