What's up,

first of all this might be a stupid thread/idea (feel free to delete it  :wink)

What kind of collectible would u like to have - that doesnt exist.  :bigsmile
Im not talking about wrapping the actors up in plastic or something, lets keep it realistic.  :laughing

I personally would love some figures from ED 1 and the Reboot and maybe some re-releases from Army Of Darkness (Pitwitch etc.)...also a matching Delta 88 would be awesome + a Cabin (In - & Outside Cabin) and maybe the Woods to go along with it (I know some people might even do dioramas and stuff themselves but i dont  :wink)

And maybe that there would be only version instead of 825 different releases  :laughing, i guess that would be good for any movie, not just Evil Dead.
 
Official ED 1 figures if the ownership rights are ever sorted out (I printed off some fan made bubble packaged ED1 figures years ago but only SeeNoEvil has those images in digital format)

A Bonsai tree grown from a seed from the cabin site location (I've got some but they're probably too old to germinate now)

35cl of genuine Tennesee moonshine ... has to be in a rubber sealed jam jar though

I'd also love to rig my loft trapdoor up so when it opens, the jazz cellar tune kicks in, the lights flicker red and white so I can move my collectibles up there and make my own mini Evil Dead museum  :).

Action figures from the first film. And by NECA. ;) Or a model kit for the Delta 88 and cabin would be great.

Heh, thats what i was thinking about. :) It doesnt get better than NECA these days.  :wink
 
They're an action figure company and IMO they make the best ones around.
 
Any luck finding that 25mm Leading Edge Ash yet though? ( :wink)
 
An official bluray of The Evil Dead with the short "Within the Woods" hahaha or better yet an official bluray with all the 3 movies with the short "Within the Woods".

A bluray unrated version of the reboot in a book of the dead package.

1: Combo-pack re-release of the Evil Dead with a good assortment of the best extras from all of the earlier releases.  I'd add a commentary from the Ladies of the Evil Dead, 'cause I want to hear more from Ellen, Betsy and Theresa about what was like making the movie.

2: My old wish was for an AOD re-release in higher quality that includes all of the various edits, but since we have that I'd love some reunion docs and a commentary that includes Embeth, Richard, Marcus, Ted and Timothy.

3: I'm pretty satisfied with what we've gotten for Evil Dead 2, but I'd have Ted on commentary next time.  I want more details on how tough his Henrietta experience was!

3: Original Evil Dead figures, finally, specifically Deadite Linda and Deadite Cheryl, and of course Ash (with a blood-soaked variant).

4: A greater variety of Evil Dead 2 and Evil Dead teeshirts (can we please have Evil Dead 2 shirts with actual imagery from Evil Dead 2 on it?)

5: A freaking.  Deadite.  Sheila.  Figure.  Plz.  I feel like we've gotten every character but her in figure form!

6: A re-release of all of the gang's super-8 shorts, with commentary on stuff like Cleveland Smith and Within the Woods.

7: An actual cabin model, and-or one of the castle.

8: Castle Playset, with working pit.

9: A 16" talking Ash doll, with pull ring and pre-recorded sayings by Bruce.

10: An AOD animated series.
 
@Elise hee, what can I say, I want what I want :) .  I'd also love a cabin playset with working trapdoor and a Rotten Apple Head figure.

@Jake - it could start with Ash in the S-Mart ending and work from there.  Even if it ends up with an Ash-and-Sheila-kill-the-boogieman-of-the-week formula, it'll be worth watching, and if it's sold to an outfit like Fox or Adult Swim, you could probably get away with AOD-level gore. 

(Sliders is airing on repeats through The Hub stateside, but IDK where it's airing over in London)

2. 3. I'm all for anything that includes more of Ted Raimi.

6. Afraid all we will see of the gangs shorts are what Josh Becker already has out there.

7. Last, but certainly not least. If they make a castle play set they should do like the did back in the day with the Castle Greyskull/Snake Mountain sets from He-Man, and include fake blood in place of slime.


The thing I would love to see would be a model of either the classic and/or deathcoaster that you can put together yourself like the old car models... and not the snap together ones. That to me would be pretty badass.
 
 
@Jake: Eh, I'm more of a studio edit girl.  The original ending fits better with the trilogy as a whole, but clashes with the tone of the movie.  On the off-chance that they never, ever make another movie in this series, I'm glad Ash got his happy ending.

@Nick el ass: RE 6: Mmm, I know - especially because Sam's fairly resistant to putting Within The Woods out there officially.  I'm happy to pay Josh for the privilege of seeing the shorts he's willing to share with us, though.
