considering the complaints about deadites being killed too easy (not by me) it would be an interesting twist if she (and other deadite characters) return for the finale.
She wouldn't be the first lady to return without her head! Thinking about it, her head was shot clean off at the neck*, suggesting the head itself may be intact. (Well, half intact, considering the previous headshot.)
Of course, it could just be a backflash.
*Would Amanda's little pistol have managed that, even at that range. Mind you, it had two barrels, if I remember correctly. This was the second gun, taken from her leg holster, I believe. Like a deringer, but with two wider bore barrels.

Please, oh Lord, make that this is not the beginning of the episode. I want Ash alone in the cabin, if not for the whole episode than for a few gory scenes And please put a little blood on them. Amanda looks like she just left the beauty salon :dodgy:

I think its a trick, Amanda would have had pablo and Kelly with her,plus she doesn't even know were the cabin is at in the first place. So I'm willing to bet its a trick by the cabin

Actually kelly and ash sort of have a moment in "The host" at the end of it, it's a quick but brief scene between the two before pablo walked in, I do hope we get more scenes like that between the two in the upcoming season.

I'm really starting to think that it's apart of pablo's character to have these backtracks in his overall character, his essentially like ash from ED1, his going through the motions a lot more slower because of his overall innocence and his beliefs, his probably been the most logical and the most honest one of the group as well. Every time either kelly or ash step's out of line or they do something stupid his always there to call them out on it, i'm really starting to get why ray said pablo is the heart of this group and it's really starting to show in these recent episode's. I really can't wait till pablo has his moment to shine because there building up to something with him and i can't wait to see what the plans are with him for next season.
(Side Note,
I was re-watching this episode again and i noticed in the assault rifle scene ray was visibly shaking after it, you can see this when he hold's his fists up, Great physical acting on his part !

Looks like some hikers are about to get wrapped up in this mess, and i have a very strong feeling there going to be our most resilient deadites to date on this show.

That clip is most definitely from the beginning of the episode. That leaves myself and a lot of other people here tremendously disappointed that Ash won't be spending any time alone in the cabin at all and turns the whole plot point of Ash ditching the rest of the group to go alone to the cabin into a completely weightless waste of time. They keep trying to sell the flirting between Ash and Amanda as natural, even though it's terribly written and makes no sense at all for her character. They've given us absolutely no reason to care about her or their "relationship" so far. It's forced and unearned. Not only that, I really haven't been fond of Jill Marie Jones' performance on the show. The material she's been given certainly does not do her any favors, but her acting has been pretty bad so far.
Sigh... I really don't wanna be so negative all the time, but this show is really making it hard for me to see any silver linings and it's actually starting to make me angry.

Yeah i'm not really looking forward to it either, but i ain't gonna let it get past my overall excitement to see what the cabin has instore for them all for this ARC, we usually get alot more photo's but there was only 8 for this release of hq still's, and i'm pretty sure were not gonna get a whole lot of clips for this weeks episode either.

There really setting this arc up like a tv made evil dead 4, We got random hiker's coming into this episode. And boy do they fit the part well.

And I'm officially disappointed that my spec for this episode is less creative than what they came up with. Now we know who the blonde is, and that she's the only one who lives through at least episode nine/ten. Cue our spam-in-the can characters. Also please, please tell me the blonde isn't here just to make Pablo and Kelly "question their feelings" and Kelly get jealous because she's into Pablo.

My new guess: that really is Amanda, the force gets her when it rushes the cabin, and Ash kills her. Pablo and Kelly question whether or not Ash murdered her in cold blood when they show up with the hikers. after Ruby shows up and claims he killed Annie.
So basically a replay of Evil Dead 2. In fact this just feels like a fanfic rewrite of Evil Dead 2 with Kelly and Pablo and Ruby jammed into the story.
