The Random Evil Dead Related Merch & Prop Replicas Thread

A fan made Evil Dead 2 deer head replica.

Officially licensed The Evil Dead skateboard boards by Madrid Skateboards. Six designs are limited to 500 pieces, while a seventh is only 250. I believe this is the second time an Evil Dead movie has had official skateboards, with the first being some Evil Dead 2 ones from last year(? or the year before?)

OK, the Linda one is pretty cool - it'd look nice mounted on a wall.

That Linda one's my favourite as well. Looking at their website, you get a free funky 'Knowby's Cabin Rentals' keyring with each board or you can just buy one instead for £8.

An officially licensed Army of Darkness Ash animatronic figure is coming from HalloweenCostumes.com!
It looks like he's sporting the Syndicate Collectibles AOD chainsaw with the funky stump hole, combined with the Ash vs Evil Dead tape on the handle!

He comes with an interchangeable metal gauntlet hand that holds the Necronomicon.
Official description:
Hail to the King, Baby
Ash Williams has survived deadites, possessed hands, time travel, and a job at S-Mart. The man has earned his title as a hero… and his chainsaw accessory. He brings equal parts swagger and splatter to everything he does, operating on the firm belief that confidence is the best weapon… even if he could work on his annunciation with the Necronomicon. Bringing Ash into your Halloween setup means committing to that same energy: loud, proud, and ready for whatever the night throws at you.

This six-foot animatronic recreation captures everything that makes Ash the most reluctant hero in horror history, and it delivers that personality through motion, voice, and the ability to adapt to the scene with iconic accessories!

Design & Details
Standing a full 72 inches tall and spanning 50 inches wide at his largest accessory pairing, this Ash animatronic features a molded body sculpted to recreate his Army of Darkness look, complete with his S-Mart name tag and torn shirt. Three interchangeable components let you customize the display: the chainsaw hand, the gauntlet hand, and the infamous Necronomicon.

Powered by a standard outlet, the figure activates via on/off switch or motion detection. Several voice tracks pulled directly from the film play on activation, so your guests get the full Ash experience delivered at full volume.

Groovy Decorating Decisions
Place him near your front door and let the motion sensor handle the rest. Every trick-or-treater who walks up gets a personalized greeting from the man himself, voice tracks and all. The interchangeable accessories mean you can rotate his look throughout the season, keeping things fresh for repeat visitors who clearly have excellent taste in haunted houses.

Syndicate Collectibles is showing off their upcoming ARMY OF DARKNESS stuff... including a cabin replica set, 3-inch retro-inspired figures (not unlike the Super 7 figs) and 1:24 scale figures, all coming in 2027!

You should have posted this in the Figures thread.

I realized that as soon as you did it. TBH I forgot there was a dedicated figures thread :dizzy:
Yeah. This thread is for random Evil Dead merch that don't need their own thread.

The Infinite Statue Ash sure looks gawdy:

Real life history?
The guy who owns the Re-Animator film franchise got into a lawsuit with Dynamite because of the usage of what was clearly the movie version of Herbert West in the AOD vs Re-Animator comic (though they tried to pass it off as the public domain version). Dynamite tried to claim ownership of the Re-Animator trademark when the Re-Animator movie owner tried to do a crossover comic with another franchise. They settled out of court with Dynamite getting restrictions placed upon them about how to depict their version of the character (which they have kinda ignored on and off since then), but all of that spiraled out of that first Army of Darkness crossover series.

Going back to the "prop replica" side of this thread, for any of you striving for an accurate The Evil Dead Scotty costume or want some sort of prop to represent him in your collection, Redditors recently identified Scotty's knife as Buck 120 General hunting knife. This is the same type of knife used by Ghostface in the Scream franchise, so it seems to be a favorite of horror movie characters!
